"We applaud Congress for taking steps to modernize the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act and build on the progress underway in states to advance quality career pathways for all students, particularly those from low-income communities, students of color, English learners and students with disabilities. We look forward to working with states as they implement this new law and continue the important work of partnering with state, industry, and community leaders to make sure every child is successful in the workforce after high school, college and beyond."
