The Council of Chief State School Officers’ (CCSSO) Collaboratives are the premier space for state education agency (SEA) professionals to gain invaluable industry knowledge from each other as well as national experts on education subject areas and systems.

BAS Collaborative

This Collaborative strengthens state member capacity to build coherent assessment systems that inform instruction, enhance reporting and support local decision-making.

CRC Collaborative

This Collaborative supports states in examining best practices to expand access to rich experiences that expose students to career options, help connect classroom learning and professional application and support career planning for the future. 

CAO/CTO Collaborative

This Collaborative supports states in increasing collaboration across the academic and educator effectiveness offices in state education agencies, leading to a more comprehensive focus on policy that will improve teacher practice and leader capacity to support high-quality instruction.

ECE Collaborative

This Collaborative supports state strategies to strengthen birth-to-grade 3 systems by aligning standards, programs and data to ensure all children start strong.

EIMAC Collaborative

This Collaborative supports states around data modernization and digital access, helping states harness technology for more connected education systems.
