Voices from the Field: National Perspectives on Personalized Learning

Students of color, students from low-income families, students with disabilities, English learners (ELs), and other historically underserved student populations tend to have the least access to innovations in teaching and learning that could better suit their needs. New Profit’s America Forward Coalition and the Innovation Lab Network (ILN) of the Council of Chief State Schools Officers (CCSSO) collaborated to explore the relationship between personalized learning and educational equity. This project highlights promising personalized learning practices as well as considerations for policymakers, practitioners, and education leaders pursuing educational equity.
