National and State Collaboration for Educator Effectiveness (NSCEE)

CCSSO is pursuing a systemic strategy for transforming education. To provide focus within that strategy, NSCEE will address a limited number of priority actions that will help states increase the effectiveness of teaching and leading to improve student achievement and eliminate disparities. Priority strands for Consortium work include:

  • Principal Leadership
  • Teacher Evaluation
  • Teacher Leadership

In support of this effort 29 states  have signed on to participate in NSCEE: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CT, DE, GA, HI, ID, IL, KY, MD, ME, MI, MS, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, UT, WI, WV.

Members are encouraged to sign in to the NSCEE collaboration site to stay current on events, discussions and documents related to member progress. The public may also visit the NSCEE site to view and download documents.
