Helping School Districts Build Trust Around Student Data

The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) has created a new, voluntary Trusted Learning Environment (TLE) Seal for school districts that want to demonstrate to their community/parents that they have solid privacy practices around handling of student data.  Learn more about this effort on a Deep Dive webinar on January 24, 2017. States can encourage their school districts to consider applying for the second cohort until February 15, 2017.

For more information and to learn about the requirements and examples from the first seven districts that have received the TLE Seal, visit trustedlearning.org.
